I enabled both the atom publishing protocol and xml-rpc in wordpress (version 2.8.5). When I try to log into my blog using this app on my blackberry, (www.robertbenson.com/blog/xmlrpc.php) it takes forever, then there is a triangle with explanation point inside of it, showing that I didn't log in. Reinstalled app on my phone, took out battery, rechecked the url, tried with thought the xmlrpc.php string at the end..... nothing works. nothing's easy. This program doesn’t work for me at all.
